We have recieved literally thousands of requests for information on models not currently covered here. It's our hope that people will come forward with specifications, years offered, options, and even images or catalog/slick scans and the like to help build this archive.

Occasionally a special individual comes forward with additions, and hopefully you are one.

The Nikki Sixx Blackbird has the Motley Crue bassist’s favorite features, including the “Opti-Grab” and on/off toggle as well as the custom fingerboard inlays.

Also see Headstock Styles and Logo Styles for help determining when your guitar was made (particularly helpful if there is no serial number).

Note #2: Guitars with no serial number were produced at many different times.

The catalog scans are approximately 1180 pixels wide to keep the text ligible.

Some models are represented by crops from these images and therefore not of the best quality.

However, as 1990 approached, the use of one digit for the year presented the issue of repeat serial numbers.

Around this time, the serial numbers became a bit unpredictable, as they were figuring out a new system. Bolt-neck models started having the serial number engraved into the neckplate in 1987.

As always, anyone contributing will most definitely get credit for their work!
